Czech Airlines ( ČSA) is the Czech national airline company based at Ruzyně International Airport, Prague. Czech Airlines operates scheduled flights to 69 destinations in 41 countries, including most major cities in Europe and to main hubs in the Middle East, North Africa and North America. Czech Airlines also operates cargo and charter services. In year 2006 Czech Airlines carried over 5 million passengers. In 2007 it carried over 5.6 million passengers. The company provides a frequent flyer plan called "OK Plus". Czech Airlines is also a member of the SkyTeam alliance.
CSA was founded on October 6, 1923, by the Czechoslovak government as CSA ČeskoSlovenské Aerolinie.
The range of the company's services is broad. Scheduled carriage, charter flights to tourist centres for tour operators, and goods and cargo carriage. Ground services are aircraft maintenance, crew training, catering on board, duty free sales at airports and during the flight.

Czech Airline’s main line of business is the carriage of passengers on regularly scheduled flights. We offer connections to 104 destinations in 44 countries, enabling our clients to have fast and comfortable connections to major business and political centres.

CSA offers charter flights to regional tour operators, to tourist centres around the world.
Carriage of Goods and Cargo
Czech Airlines offers air cargo carriage, having several modern cargo terminals in Europe. Modern storage facilities enable storing of goods requiring special care in handling.
Aside from carrying passengers and goods, CSA also provides passenger and aircraft handling. Thanks to its top-level equipment and experienced staff, Czech Airlines handles approximately 60% of all of the passengers at Prague’s Ruzyně Airport each year, i.e., not only those who are flying on its own flights, but also on the flights of other airlines.
Czech Airlines Catering serves 90% of the catering services at the Prague Ruzyně Airport. It offers service not only to Czech Airlines’ passengers, but also to other airlines that operate scheduled and charter carriage at the Prague Ruzyně Airport.
Czech Airlines obtained authorisations to maintain aircraft according to Part-145 of European Regulations and also FAR-145 of American Aviation Regulations. CSA provides regular service to a number of international airlines.
Air Crew Training
CSA ows a training centre at the Ruzyně-South Airport and provides training for own and other airlines crews .
Duty Free Sales
CSA also offers duty free sales on board of its flights and also in the Prague Airport area, with a range of luxury and gift items.
