Cubana Airlines (Cubana de Aviacion) is a Cuban national airline Cubana Airlines (Cubana de Aviacion S.A.) is a Cuban national airline, also known as Cubana, is the largest airline and flag carrier of Cuba. Cubana was founded in 1929 as a subsidiary of Pan American World Airways and later became a private company owned by Cuban private investors. The company is one of the earliest airlines to operated in Latin America. The company has its headquarters in Havana, Cuba and airline's main hub is located at Jose Marti International Airport, Cuba.
Cubana Airlines has been owned by the government since 1959. The airline is a member of the International Association of Aeronautical Telecommunications, the International Air Transport Association, and the International Association of Latin American Air Transportation (also known as AITAL). Cubana operates flights to Canada's two cities: Toronto (Toronto Pearson International Airport) and Montreal (Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport).
